Prescott, Arizona is the county seat for Yavapai
County. Twice in it's history it was the capital of the Arizona
Territory. The elevation of Prescott is slightly over 5300 feet
above sea level, so winters are mild and summers are cooler than
much of Arizona.

Prescott has many beautiful Victorian homes, some
of which are Inns, and Bed and Breakfasts. Downtown Prescott has
its world renouned "Whiskey Row", great restaurants, and
many places to shop.
During Frontier Days you can attend the The World's
Oldest Rodeo. Prescott has beautiful colf courses, places to canoe
and kayak, and art to see at its world class museums.
